Fastview360 was officially registered with Damion Davis and Dan Molyneux after a period of time doing research and development into the market. The office was based within a site office at the Davis Haulage head quarters.
Damion was still working in haulage as the Managing Director of Davis Haulage Ltd and was fed up with finding his camera systems had faults or were missing footage. He wanted to see the gap in the market for camera faults met with a solution – Fastview360 was created.
Dan’s speciality was in CCTV monitoring so he took up the technical angle of getting the system up and working. The use of his technical background was of great benefit as it enabled the desired system to be rigorously tested and trialled before putting onto vehicles for trial to ensure the visions of both Damion and Dan could be met.
Later in the year, Damion had made the decision to sell his part of Davis Haulage to invest more into Fastview360 but continued to work at both companies in the meantime.
The first official customer joined Fastview360 in January and we started the roll out across the fleet. Any teething issues could be resolved and improvements were being made all through the year as customers installed the Fastview360 system.
In February, Damion left his role within Davis Haulage to concentrate his efforts fully on Fastview360.
As the customer base grew, more members of the team were being sought and the office was in need of relocating to a more suitable premises.
The Fastview360 office was relocated to Scope House in Crewe where the team had dedicated space for developing and testing the products before installation to ensure the quality.
The interface of the online remote access needed a re-vamp to give the sophisticated look that the system could provide. Nick Billington joined in February to support the sales and front-end view of the systems. Oliver Nixon joined shortly after to help with developing the front and back-end software. His development background has meant we have been able to develop the systems as customers wants and needs evolve and most importantly being British based.
As the customer base grew, support to meet the customer satisfaction was needed and more members of staff joined the team. The sales team was also growing so taking on additional sales staff was required.
Wayne Moss joined as the Head of Installations. He came from a transport and logistics background, his skills of time management and route planning ensured the best use of engineer time and enabled customers to be reached in a timely manner.
As COVID-19 hit, the office staff started working from home and continued to deliver customer service that our customers expected. The adaptability of the staff ensured we could continue to operate in unknown circumstances.
Over the next 12 months the customer base continued to grow and the need for additional staffing and premises became more and more evident to meet the requirements of the customers.
The office was relocated to The Lodge on Stapeley Technology Park, near Crewe where we are today. The new office space provided dedicated testing stations, increased storage capacity, more space for staff to come into the office and have dedicated working spaces as well as the opportunity for Fastview360 to put their own stamp on the building.
Continued developments across all industries were ongoing as we branched out to provide solutions for customers in not just on board but site based CCTV.
Additionally, the customer base continues to grow and develop and we pride ourselves in offering the same customer satisfaction in the products and services as we have done since day one.
Continued growth is evident and ensuring the business facilities are matching the demand and requirements has lead to the start of a purpose built office to be put into planning. We are looking forward to sharing the development as the planning and building progresses.
